Overall: Mody University caters perfectly to the academic needs of students by introducing the latest teaching methods and learning facilities so that the students are able to grasp the concepts easily. The labs are always kept updated with all the latest tools & instruments needed to learn the various concepts of chemistry. And the professors make sure that students are able to have fun while learning in their classes.
Placement: Unluckily, there have not been any placement opportunities for our stream. However, the placement cell helps in conducting workshops and events that can be of help to our stream.
Infrastructure: The campus is well maintained and always kept in the utmost clean condition so as to ensure that they offer a serene and calm learning environment to the students. The practical labs are always kept neat & clean so the practical lessons/classes are not hindered.
Faculty: The chemistry department has probably the best professors under whom learning is really worth it. They are cool-headed & helpful in nature but when it comes to learning, they are quite strict. They even to the extent of arranging extra classes.
Hostel: The hostel rooms are very great and are always kept clean and tidy. Every room is fixed with all the amenities that a student requires in daily life. Plus, there is provision of clean & hygiene water and powerful generators to offer uninterrupted power supply. And the canteen food is good and tasty but still misses the home-touch.
Overall: Mody University offered me the best learning facilities along with excellent placement options. The departmental professors and lab faculty were an excellent help when I really needed them. The teachers offer extra classes and additional support to all students and never lost their cool in making us understand the chemistry concepts. Some professors made lab practicals fun and informative at the same time. We were even taught via video lecturers and showed various chemistry-related discoveries and stories.
Placement: Mody university placement cell brings in leading & reputed companies in the campus recruitment events. They even conduct workshops, lectures, and other industry related events where in organizational leaders are invited to talk with students and share insights on the current market. I did not participate in the campus recruitment as I wanted to pursue higher education.
Infrastructure: There’s a medical centre, auditorium, canteen, cafeteria, sport centre, and computer lab; all these buildings are well maintained and kept clean. There’s ambulance facility available as well to take the students/faculty members to the nearest hospital. There are doctors & nurses stationed in the medical centre for initial checkups & treatments. The overall campus is surrounded with a clean & clear environment and is well connected via road from all sides.
Faculty: The professors of my department were very supportive yet strict. They only wanted the betterment of students and arranged extra classes or made them stay back to clear their doubts and queries.
Hostel: The hostel rooms were excellent and quite spacious. The rooms have all the required amenities and there’s an uninterrupted supply for clean & hygienic water. Each hostel has its own power backup so that students do not face issues related to power failure. The only downside which I personally felt is that the food provided is not so good yet it can be eaten.
