About NASM Mumbai
NEST Academy of Sports Management (NASM), Mumbai, formerly known as NEST, is a sports institute founded in 2000 in Mumbai, India. NASM serves this emerging field in India by focusing on developing professionally, intellectually, and morally competent sports managers and executives.
It is India's first institute to work with universities, colleges, and institutes that offer sports management degrees. Recognising the industry's need for expertise, the institute provides its students with fundamental and advanced theories and practices in management, branding, marketing, leisure, law, and other fields relevant to sports.
NASM Mumbai has received several honours, including ‘Best Institute for Sports Management’ from the Asia Education Summit and ‘Excellence in Sports Management Education’ from Mid Day. In addition, NASM, Mumbai was placed first in India as a Private Higher Education Institution for "Sports and Co-curricular Education" in the Education World-India Private Higher Education Rankings 2019-20.
In partnership with Nagindas Khandwala College, Mumbai, NEST Academy of Sports Management provides BMS, MSM, UG, and PG Diploma programmes. NASM Mumbai is Asia's first institution that provides a well-researched sports management education.
