New Delhi Institute of Management Placement 2022

The placements for 2022 started in September 2021 and as of February 2022 a total of 365 students that make up 81% have secured their placements. Many more companies are slated to visit in the following months and the remaining students have the opportunity to get placed after February. The 365 students have secured a position for themselves six months before they graduate from their courses.

New Delhi Institute of Management Placement Cell

The placement cell at New Delhi Institute of Managementis known as the Corporate Resource Centre and rightly so. It plays a crucial role in connecting the future professionals to the corporate industry. They maintain a close contact with the recruiters throughout the year so that there is a standard relationship while they are invited for recruitments . They also conduct numerous activities like- workshops, trainings, resume writing sessions, mock interviews and skill development classes to help the students train and prepare for the interviews.

The CRC team at New Delhi Institute of Management is headed by the director of corporate relations and assisted by a team of highly efficient general managers who come with industry experience. Besides the core tea, there are 45 management students and 238 mentors and members of the academic advisory council of the Institute who provide support to the core CRC team.

New Delhi Institute of Management Placement Process

The students of NDIM are eligible for placements from the third semester of their two-year courses. Prior to the interview, they are given adequate training and counselling where they are assisted on matters of career mapping, and finding their areas of interest. The companies schedule their pre-placement talks so as to acquaint the students with various aspects of the placements like- eligibility, job description, expectations and salary packages. After the pre-placement talks, students can apply to the job that they feel would suit their area and their academic credentials.

The final interviews are held on campus on a mutually convenient date and the students need to appear for the same. After the interviews are complete, selected students will be offered positions and issue offer letters which they can accept or decline based on their preference.

New Delhi Institute of Management Summer Internship Placements

It is the prerogative of every B school to equip their students with internships so as to keep them updated on contemporary corporate standards. At NDIM, the students have the opportunity of summer as well as winter internships. At the end of the first semester, they have the winter internship and they have a summer internship at the end of their second semester. At the end of each internship, the students are required to submit a detailed report which will be evaluated through an interview conducted by an expert panel.
