The CMAT cutoff for admission to the PGDM course at National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune was 94 percentile. This year's cutoff is expected to be similar or higher, so you may not be able to gain admission with an 89.25 percentile rank.

Please note that your graduation score does make you eligible to apply for the institute as it requires 50% marks in graduation.

Can I get into NIBM Pune with 50 percentile?

It depends on your scores obtained in the entrance exam. Other than CAT, the scores obtained in CMAT, GMAT, XAT and GRE will be converted into CAT equivalent scores. If you score 50 percentile at this stage and you belong to the ST or PwD category, you are eligible to get admission to NIBM Pune. If you score less than that you will not qualify for admission to NIBM Pune.

Does NIBM Pune consider a sectional cutoff?

No, NIBM Pune does not consider any sectional cutoff. The overall cutoff score is considered. In the case of CMAT 2023, the overall cutoff percentile for the general category was 85 percentile. Similarly, in the case of XAT, the overall percentile for the general category in 2023 was 75.

Will the admission for 2024-26 batch be solely based on the NIBM Pune CAT cutoff 2024?

No, the NIBM Pune cut-off 2024 will include only 35% weightage. For the remaining 75%, the admission parameters are academic performance with 25% weightage, WAT/OCT with 10% weightage, PI and extracurricular activities with 25% and 5% weightage, respectively. 

How will the NIBM Pune 2024 cutoff be determined?
