NICMAR University Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

NICMAR's Pune Campus is situated at Balewadi, 14 kms. away from the Pune Central Railway Station and 7 kms. away from Pune University. The Mumbai-Bangalore Expressway  runs along the Institute. It has over 3,77,676 sq.ft. of built-up area spread across 11 acres of land and constructed using the latest materials and technologies and having state-of-the-art facilities blended harmoniously with the landscaped greenery all around.

The physical infrastructure of the Campus includes work area for 1098 students, over 70 faculty members and scholars and 150 support staff (classrooms, seminar rooms, tutorial rooms, faculty cabins, offices, modern library, stack areas, reference section, documentation centre, scholar's cabins, computerized catalogs, inter-campus library on-line, computer centers for 301 persons each to work at a time, internet and e-mail, a guest house, a modern and well appointed kitchen with a capacity to serve 1098 meals per day, students and faculty dining halls). The other facilities include Xerox center, solar water heating, sewage treatment plant, cafeteria, generator backup to all the rooms, doctor & medical instruction room, first-aid kits, community hall, indoor and outdoor recreation infrastructure .i.e. football ground, basketball court, tennis court, badminton courts(2), volley ball courts(2), gymnasium, recreation hall with table tennis, carom boards, chess boards and TV with dish connection, students parking facility (two wheeler), stationary & supplies store and laundry facility. Further expansion of the campus is in progressy which will add a new students hostel and a new academic building.

Pune campus currently has four hostels, which together provide 904 single occupancy  rooms for boys and 194  shared occupancy for girl students. 

Quench is a group of students who have a crazy streak for language. Reading, Speaking, Writing.. you name it!

The clubs organizes numerous exciting and social events during the Intra College as well as inter college festival at NICMAR. During after-college hours, Quench holds several fun games and sessions like JAM (Jest a Minute), movie & book reviews, Block ‘n Tackle, Linked IN, Debates and many more.(You have to be there, to know what’s in store here)

The team Quench launched an E-magazine for NICMAR students in 2014. The group hopes to widen its network every year and bag more accolades on the inter college front

The Music Club at NICMAR is a fun loving, yet dedicated group of students, who live by Music. The students are free to

- Jam with other musicians
- Practice & even learn new instruments
- Hear others’ compositions 
- Fuse ideas and create musical magic

Quite a few number of independent bands and seasoned musicians have evolved from the previous years of our Club, and the legacy continues..

The NICMAR Dance Club is an all inclusive, open to all Dance Troupe. The different styles that we experiment with here, is a mixed bag of the diverse dance backgrounds the members bring to the table - and whatever new styles they want to try out. From hip-hop, freestyle to salsa, all under one roof!

There are also performance opportunities for those who are interested in dedicating additional time to rehearsal. The NICMAR troupe has won prizes in many inter collegiate dance competitions. If dance be your drug, then this is your place to be!.
