NIFT Placements 2024 took place in two phases through a centralised process: Phase I was organised on-campus for various campuses nationwide between April 22 and May 10, 2024 (Over), for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Conversely, Phase II was administered online between May 15-18, 2024 (Over). The NIFT seat matrix 2024 is available in a downloadable PDF format at nift.ac.in, the official website of the National Institute of Fashion Technology. As of 2024, there are 5,289 total NIFT seats available for design courses, up from 5,215 in 2023. These include 4,394 All-India seats, 473 NRI, and 424 state domiciles. There are 652 UG seats available in the BFTech course as opposed to 3,399 seats in the BDes course. The NIFT exam 2024 was administered on February 5, 2024, across 32 affiliated testing facilities in India. Based on the results of the GAT, CAT, GD/PI, or Situation test (if applicable), candidates will be assigned respective seats.

The NIFT Situation Test is part of the NIFT entrance exam conducted by the institute. This selection involves a step-by-step process:- a written entrance exam (GAT & CAT) followed by the situation test. Only students who qualify for the written part are called for the situation test. Moreover, the final merit is based on both these parts, so candidates have to appear in both. This situation test holds 20% weightage in the admission process. The situation test for the BDes course is expected to be conducted sometime in March 2024 in offline mode while the entrance exam will be held on February 5, 2024. 

NIFT Patna cutoff ranks 2024: During the seat allotment and the NIFT counselling procedure, the NIFT Patna cutoff rank 2024 will be released for all categories. The NIFT 2024 exam was conducted on February 5, 2024, across 37 exam centres in India and the NIFT final results for UG courses were released on May 14, 2024. All 18 participating NIFTs will individually release the cutoff for their undergraduate and graduate programmes for almost six different courses.

NIFT Patna expected cutoff rank 2024: During the seat allotment and counselling procedure, the NIFT Patna cutoff rank 2024 will be released. All 18 participating NIFTs will individually release the cutoff for their undergraduate and graduate programmes for almost six different courses.

NIFT Expected Cutoff 2024: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will reveal the NIFT 2024 cutoffs for each participating NIFT college during the counselling and seat allotment. Anticipated in May-June 2024, the cutoffs will be specific for BDes, BFTech, MDes, M.FTech, and MFM courses across categories like Open, OBC, EWS, ST, SC, and others.
