NMIMS Mumbai M.Sc - Chemistry - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: NMIMS Mumbai offers a two years M.Sc Chemistry course in full-time mode. I am in the first year of NMIMS Mumbai M.Sc Chemistry programme. I had numerous options to choose from, but the reason I chose NMIMS Mumbai is because of its experienced faculty and friendly environment. The college also has an excellent placement record. For practical knowledge, the institute has department-based laboratories.

Placement: The college ensures maximum placement and summer internship opportunities are provided to students. For M.Sc students, industrial visits are conducted at regular intervals. The placement cell provides career counselling to students and helps them in choosing the right career path. NMIMS Mumbai prominent recruiters are Aditya Birla Group, Max Life Insurance, TATA Capital, Axis Bank etc.

Infrastructure: Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies campus is spread over an area of 13 acres (approx). The lush green campus has modern facilities such as smart classrooms, spacious and fully air conditioned auditorium, well equipped library, canteen, computer labs, department based laboratories etc.

Faculty: NMIMS Mumbai faculty make sure students syllabus is covered within stipulated time. To solve students' queries, extra classes are conducted by professors. The institute has both new recruited and experienced faculty.

Hostel: The college allot hostels to students on a first come first serve basis. NMIMS Mumbai hostels are well equipped with basic facilities like reading room, mess, common room etc.

Overall: I pursued M.Sc in Chemistry course from NMIMS Mumbai. Candidates can definitely consider NMIMS for the M.Sc course. We were provided 6 months project work as a part of industrial training. During the course, we were also provided hands-on training on various analytical instruments. NMIMS Mumbai provided me with an opportunity to improve soft skills and scientific writing. The college also has a good placement and internship record for M.Sc batch.

Placement: NMIMS Mumbai mostly has 100% placements. However, sometimes it could only reach 90- 95%. The highest CTC offered during NMMS M.Sc placement in our batch was around Rs 10 lakh per annum, while the average was around 6 lakh. NMIMS top recruiters include IPCA, Lupin, BARC, Asian Paints and EY.

Infrastructure: NMIMS Mumbai has campuses in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. I studied at Mumbai campus which has state-of-the-art infrastructure. Our college has a robust infrastructure, including laboratories where students can perform experiments, a library, an auditorium, a canteen, and air-conditioned classrooms.

Faculty: The faculty is top-notch and extremely knowledgeable. Each student is prepared for a job interview. They are reachable and helpful. You can speak with them for advice on your career as well as any questions regarding the course curriculum.

Hostel: There are separate hostels for both girls and boys. Those who were unable to obtain a hostel room may relocate to one of the institution's four rented residence flats. Students who want more information about the college housing should come to campus and speak with the appropriate person.
