Five scholarships are available at UBS Mumbai to help students with their academics, such as means scholarship, merit scholarship, economic scholarship, entrance exam scholarship, and special scholarship. Students can apply for UBS Mumbai scholarshipsand profit from them after being accepted into the college. Students must review the qualifying requirements and needed documentation for the scholarship before they begin the application process. Here are several Universal Business School Kajrat scholarship programmes offered by UBS to students. 

Means Scholarship – IDFC Bank (Rs 2 Lakhs)

Applicable to students from families with annual income below Rs 6 lakh. It is an application and Interview based process. The final decision on the scholarship award is at the sole discretion of IDFC first. 

Economic Scholarship (Early Bird Scholarship)

Merit means & special scholarship is available. Send in your scholarship application to the admissions team.

PGDM Program - up to Rs 50,000

Global Programs (GMP) - up to Rs 1,00,000

Special Scholarship 

1. Children of armed forces applicants - Rs 25,000

2. Students with domicile in Northeast, Chandigarh, Union Territories, and Jammu & Kashmir - Rs 50,000

3. Graduates from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - 80% of Tuition Fee (first three applicants)

4. Siblings scholarship - Rs 50,000

5. Parent as teacher scholarship - Rs 50,000

6. National / International sports scholarship - up to Rs 50,000

7. For anyone who has lost his/her parents due to Covid-19 - Rs 1,00,000

Merit Scholarship (Only for GMP Programs) 

Criteria - Academic performance in Class 10, Class 12, and graduation:

1. Above 85% in graduation - up to Rs 1,00,000/-

2. Above 90% in graduation - up to Rs 2,00,000/-

Entrance exam scholarship (only for GMP programs)

1. Scores above 80% in CAT, XAT, or 650+ in GMAT are eligible - up to Rs 100,000/-

2. Scores above 90% in CAT, XAT, or 700+ in GMAT are eligible - up to Rs 200,000/-

3. 100% scholarship on PGDM fees to five Students who score 90% & above in the CAT exam. They should also have a minimum of 75% in their Graduation.

UIC UBS Mumbai Innovation Club

The innovation club is aimed at strengthening the students to think, brainstorm and implement innovative ideas to develop entrepreneurial skills.

Synergy HR Club

The purpose of the club is to bring together students interested in the field of human resource management, help them develop HR skills needed to succeed, and encourage them to meet people who work in the field of HRM.

Finance Club

The finance club familiarises its members with diverse areas of finance. Various finance events have been conducted that focus on giving a real-time experience in the financial market.

Digital Marketing Club

The club focuses on workshops related to crucial topics like Growth Hacking techniques in SEP, how to improve website architecture, etc. 

Matchbox (Marketing Club)

UBS realizes the power of a holistic approach to marketing which present-day companies require to create and maintain a desirable demand, reputation, and competition. The Marketing Club at UBS Mumbai focuses on activities like case writing and workshops on marketing.

The Tech-Ops Club

Sub-clubs under its umbrella focus on increasing the confidence of their members through presentation and public speaking. The club has many activities like debate series, Shark Tank, Just a Minute, Junkyard Wars, and Group Discussions and Debates.

The Environment Club

The club at UBS Mumbai focuses on creating awareness and sensitivity among the students for their environment. The initiative is called the “Green Brigade “, where the members of the club conduct photography competitions of flora and fauna. They also focus on energy saving, cleanliness in college, minimizing food wastage, planting trees, and organic farming.

The Outdoor Sports Club 

Universal Business School club aims to promote the sportsmanship spirit to create better and healthy leaders of tomorrow, learn the art of team building, and accept success and failures in the same stride in collaboration with EduSports. The club conducts outdoor sports and encourages girl students too to take an active part in them.

The Indoor Sports Club

The indoor sports club is one of the most active clubs with a mission of conducting indoor sports events every quarter of the year. Various tournaments of the games like snooker, table tennis, carrot, and chess are organized.

The club concentrates on the most important virtues of being human; humanity and compassion for the well-being of self and surroundings. Surprise food quality checks are made to ensure the hygiene and wellness of the students.
