The process for admission is simple and straightforward that can be carried out by any individual. It is based on the scores that a student attains in their previous academic exams and whether it fulfils the admission criteria for their respective applied courses. The OM Sterling Global University admission process can be carried out in two modes, online and offline. Both methods have a step-by-step guide which will be mentioned in this section. The university's main target is to select eligible candidates based on merit, and sometimes students get some relaxation in their scores if they fall under a specific category.
OSGU offers many types of courses in almost all major streams such as – Engineering and Technology, Hospitality Management, Legal Studies, Applied Sciences, Agriculture, Architecture, Planning, Performing and Fine Arts, Commerce and Management, Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Media and Mass Communication, Yoga and Naturopathy, Vocational Studies, Social Science and Humanities, and Teacher Education.
The application forms for all the courses are available online on the university's website and at the admission department situated on the campus. All the students must fulfil the eligibility criteria to get admission to the desired course; the criteria for all the courses will be discussed in detail in this section itself.
Suppose a student wants to get admission to a course during the mid-term. In that case, the migration can only be possible if the student has completed the previous examination according to the guidelines set by OSGU for the specific course. The entrance exams that the university holds will mostly be conducted in the university itself, and some of them might be conducted at different colleges affiliated with the university.
All students must have cleared their previous examination by a nationally recognized board of education and the universities affiliated with the AIU. According to the Government guidelines, 25% of the seats are already reserved for students from Haryana. All admissions requests will be entertained only if the application fees are paid off, and the relevant documents are submitted on time. The university also provides some specific concessions to 25% of the students from Haryana.
There are two ways in which a person can apply for a course:
