Overall: Oriental school of hotel management is a good college, through my cousin I got to know regarding the college. He have graduated from the college on 2018. Every teaching faculty in the college is really nice and caring. The staff are also good. But one major disadvantage for me was the cold climate other than that it's a good college.
Placement: There is not that much of placements in the college, but there are placement from reputed hotels as Marriott, Lemon Tree, Taj and many more. There are placements from the cruise ships. There are operational and management trainee options.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is good. We have one Training restaurant and three training kitchens for practical knowledge. The colle class rooms are all good but most of classes doesn't have fans, during the summer it's hard for the final years to sit in the class with blazer or suit coat.
Faculty: One think I like about the college is that all the facilities are caring and understanding. They are their for us even it's personal, academic or informal issues. The facilities are knowledgeable and experienced in their own fields .
Hostel: The college hostel is situated around thirty minutes far from the college, it's hard to get a taxi or auto from the hostel. There are no shops near by, if have something to purchase we have to travel about five kilometres. But the college provides bus so going to college and coming back is easy.
