This is a new category being introduced this academic year to encourage deserving candidates with meritorious academic performance. There will be 200 such scholarships available to students enrolling for UG Pathway courses and students can get up to 50% waiver on their Tuition Fee for the 1st year. Deserving students can continue to get the scholarship under Merit Scholarship (Existing Students) scheme.

Pearl Academy awards Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to new entrants (all centres) in regular UG & PG Pathway courses at the time of admission for their first year to meritorious students with limited means to benefit from world class education in, Design, Fashion & Business offered at the Academy.
The Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (New Entrants) provides a partial waiver of tuition fee to a maximum of 10% of new entrants.
Merit Scholarship (Course Toppers) will be awarded annually to students who have topped (1st rank) their respective cohorts, subject to the class size of minimum 30 students.
Merit Scholarship (Course Toppers) is subject to: –
Course Topper achieving the minimum prescribed standards of achievement (Higher Second Class in UG/First Class in PG/Commendation in Masters Program – i.e. min. 60%).
Awardee maintaining the minimum prescribed aggregate attendance.
No disciplinary proceedings against the awardee.
In the case of class strength being below 30 (but not lesser than 20), the Merit Scholarship will be awarded to the Topper (1st Rank) subject to achieving [UG – minimum 70% marks, i.e., First Class and PG – Distinction].
Note:
A student will be eligible for award of only one type / scheme of Scholarship in a given Academic Year.
The scholarship amount will be adjusted against student fees. No cheque will be issued.
All Scholarship decisions will be at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Committee only and will be final & binding.
There are a few scholarships, sponsored by reputed companies, for deserving students enrolled in regular UG/PG/MA Programs, who lack adequate financial means but have demonstrated a strong academic performance.
Only students within prescribed annual gross parental/family income of Rs. 6,00,000 from all sources are considered for grant of Industry Scholarships.
Industry Scholarship will be awarded based on academic performance of the applicants in each program/cohort as under:
Full scholarships to be granted to students who secure between First to Fifth rank (20% of cohort/batch) in their cohort.
Part scholarships to be granted to students who are ranked below 5th position (below 21% of the cohort) up to a rank equivalent to 50% of the cohort.
Eligible Pearl students fulfilling the eligibility conditions/criteria of annual gross parental/family income and academic performance (as notified from time to time), after completion of their first year (Level 1 in UG and Year 1 in PG/MA), desirous of availing Industry Scholarship (Merit-cum-Means), are required to submit applications along with all supporting documents by 1st week of August, as notified.
The Merit-cum-Means (Industry Scholarship) will be awarded for one year only (Year-2 onwards), and a fresh application must be made for every subsequent academic year.
