The training and placement (T&P) cell is an important section for students who are looking for great job possibilities. The  PICT Pune T&P cell acts as an airport for young undergrads and postgraduates to lift off to new heights and horizons beyond their wildest dreams. Every batch, regardless of department, increases the bar for future batches and, in a remarkable way, takes the baton forward. All students who meet the Institute's and employers' requirements are eligible to participate in the PICT Pune placement process.

PICT Pune Placement Process 

The ‘Placement Orientation Session’ is the first step in the PICT Pune placement process. Students gain knowledge of the placement process and general discipline, as well as domain-specific resources and preparation strategies. After the sixth semester of engineering, students can register for on-campus placement. The documents are submitted by the students for verification.

By exchanging placement reports and other essential information, the PICT Pune T&P cell invites companies for placement. After receiving the profile/job description, eligibility criteria, and CTC from the firms, the company-registration form is distributed to the students for confirmation of their registration. Following that, a pre-placement connection is set up for the registered students at the mutual convenience of PICT Pune, and the company. The recruitment procedure is planned and carried out in tandem with the T&P cell. The T&P cell receives the company's list of selected students and formally conveys the students' acceptance.

PICT Pune placement policy stipulates that after you have been placed in a company through the campus recruiting procedure, you are ineligible to participate in any subsequent campus drives. This approach is designed to ensure that the maximum number of individuals get good jobs, rather than just a few good ones.

Students in their third year at PICT Pune, are required to do an internship.
