The Maharashtra CET Cell is expected to increase the MHT CET 2026 application fee by ₹150–₹250 for around 19 entrance exams. Earlier, the fee structure was ₹500–₹600 for offline tests and ₹800–₹1,000 for online exams. The registration process for MHT CET 2026 is likely to begin in the last week of December 2025.
The JEE Main 2026 exam date and allotted exam city are set to be released in the first week of January through the advanced city intimation slip on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the slip using their application number and password.
The MHT CET 2026 registration process is likely to begin in the final week of December 2025, in line with last year’s late-December schedule. For the first time, the exam will be held twice—in April and May. The PCM papers are scheduled for April 11–19 and May 14–17, while the PCB papers are expected to take place from April 21–26 and May 10–11, 2026.
The student must have done 10 + 2 from a recognized university.
1) B. E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree in relevant discipline
2) Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivqlent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from an AICTE/MHRD approved institutions, with at least 50% Aggregate marks* (at least 45% marks in case of other categories from Maharashtra State only)
OR
3) Appeared** for the final year examination of Bachelors degree or equivqlent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from an AICTE/MHRD approved institutions, as specified by the concerned University for which admission is being sought to a particular PG course/specialization.
