Overall: Ram lal anand college Overall structure of college is average And building of the school is not much good As it shown but the ground is little cool
Placement: There is placement cell in the college which will hepl you to get placement every weekend the post a placement drive an help the students to get the internship
Faculty: The faculty in the college is good i study in bsc computer science and the faculty members of my course are good help full in all activities And overall faculty is good
Hostel: In ram lal anad collegee There is no hostel facilities in this college it should have the facilities of the hostel in the college
Overall: When I took addmission in Ram Lal Anand College it was my last choice. I chose it only because it comes in south campus of Delhi University. But after getting admission in Ram Lal Anand College I found it better than its neighbouring colleges of south campus. The societies are also quite good and definitely help one to improve his/her other skills. RLA NCC has given many officers to the armed forces. Fresher's, fest, farewell and annual prize distribution are organised every year.
Placement: Placement opportunities are available in RLA.There CCPC which brings internships and placement opportunities into the college. Many students take benefits of that. But the placements are not good in every course. Students of B.Com, BMS, Statistics get good placements. But in our department most of the students go for higher studies and competitive exams.
Infrastructure: There is a Lush green front lawn. Sufficient classrooms for students as our college never needed to shift classes to online mode due to conduct of SOL examinations. There is a big Library which has books related to our courses, competitive exams, magazines, newspapers etc. There are 3 computer labs in mathematics, statistics and computer science department. Most of the classes are equipped with projector. There is a community radio called 'tarang' which is one of it's kind in the whole Delhi University according to me and it's a good experience for BJMC students to work there and learn. There is geology museum. There is a research lab of microbiology department. There is an amphitheatre, an auditorium and a seminar room with good seating capacity. A girls common room is situated opposite to staff room. The sports ground of Ram Lal Anand College is newly constructed and cricket, football, vollyball etc can be played there.
Faculty: I'll talk about my department. The mathematics department of Ram Lal Anand College has 8 permanent assistant professors. Each of them has great knowledge of mathematics. If a student is interested in learning then they are ready to help him/her anytime. I took statistics as GE[generic elective, an elective paper] in four semesters. So, I can give a review about the faculties of statistics department also. They are also very good and learning from them was a great experience. So I will say that RLA has the best faculty in mathematics and statistics department.
Hostel: There is not any hostel in Ram Lal Anand College. In the neighbouring colleges hostel is only in Venky[Venkateswara College]. Students can take PG or flat in Satya Niketan or Basant Gaon which are the nearest places where students live.
Overall: If you want to study geology, then it's one of the best colleges in Delhi. The college is located near Anand Niketan with a great ambiance. The college is situated away from the regular city noise. It shares boundary with the DU South campus. You can also go for rock climbing situated right next to the college. Overall it's a fine college with a silent atmosphere.
Placement: It should be made clear that unlike other subjects getting placed right after completing your graduation in geology is difficult. You have to have atleast a master's degree to end up being placed in a private company or have to write government exams.
Infrastructure: If you plan to study geology then you can be assured to have all the lab facilities. You will have variety of rock, mineral and fossil samples along with a microscopy lab to study in more detail. The college has a big library and all the major books to study. The college building has a good infrastructure with a lush green garden in front of it.
Faculty: You can be assured to get a great faculty as far as geology is concerned. They are well qualified and their teaching methodology makes the curriculum easy to digest. Every year you will go on a field visit where the faculty members will teach you the practical aspects of geology.
Hostel: Delhi University colleges have usually small campus area so not every college can accommodate all the students. Same goes with this college as well, not every one will get the hostel facility but those who get can be assured to have a fine living atmosphere.
