Dear Student,
The AP ICET syllabus doesn't change every year. In fact, the syllabus has remained the same for the past many years. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education doesn't prescribe a detailed syllabus and only mentions the names of the sections and sub-sections in the instruction booklet, released after the notification every year. You can refer to the AP ICET previous year question papers to get an idea of the topics asked from each section. AP ICET syllabus is divided into three sections: Analytical Ability, Communication Ability, and Mathematical Ability. The Analytical Ability section has two parts i.e. Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving. Questions in this section check the ability of the candidate to understand the given data and solve various kinds of problems. The Communication Ability section assesses the candidate's English language communication skills. It includes questions related to the use of vocabulary, grammar, terms, and phrases in both casual and business contexts. The Mathematical Ability section consists of three parts: Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability, and Statistical Ability which assess the basic math skills of candidates.
Dear Student,
As per the AP ICET exam pattern, there are four choices for every question out of which, students have to choose the correct answer. So, whichever option you think is correct, you need to choose it while attempting the online computer-based test. The AP ICET exam has three sections. Section A is the Analytical Ability which comprises Data Sufficiency & Problem Solving while Section B is the Communication Ability which includes Vocabulary, Functional Grammar, Business and Computer Terminology, and Reading Comprehension. Section C is the Mathematical Ability which comprises Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability, and Statistical Ability. Section A has 75 questions, Section B has 70 questions, and Section C has 55 questions, which makes a total of 200 questions. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking in the exam. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
Dear student,
RGM College of Engineering and Technology cutoff 2023 has not yet been released. Since the results are already out, the cutoff for the year 2023 will be out soon. However, RGMCET previous year's cutoff trends give us an idea about the current year's cutoff. In the year 2022, RGM College of Engineering and Technology cutoff rank (closing) for BTech in CSE was 19629. Since you have a 34412 rank, the chances of getting admission to this branch are less. You can opt for BTech at Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology for some different streams such as Computer Science and Engineering and Business Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering as their cutoff last year was 39581, 77075, 36137, 97028 and 54417.The chances of getting admission in these streams are quite high.
Wishing you all the best.
