Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies Placements Year-Wise Trends

As per the career and placement cell statistics for the year 2021. A total of 150 students were registered for placement assistance at the Institution. A total of 68 companies visited the campus for placement interviews, out of which 14 were new recruiters. The highest package was Rs 16 lakhs annually, 95% students have been placed this year. 

RIMS Bangalore career and placement cell follow a specific sequence in its placement process. The first round has the pre-placement talks, where the prospective recruiters visit the campus and talk about their job details, eligibility, positions and salary, etc. The second round will involve sending out the students’ resumes to the respective companies so that they can gather details about the students and prepare the preliminary shortlist through the resumes. The next step is the final interview which takes place in the Institute. After that, selected students and notified of their acceptance, and their offer letters are sent to individual students. The final step involves the students finally accepting the offer and joining the workplace, at which point the responsibility of the cell ends. 

Before the final interviews, the placement cell works exclusively with the students to help them grow and develop through various activities like workshops, lectures, industrial visits, training, mock interviews, etc. These activities are targeted to help students develop various skills like- personality, communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership and teamwork, contemporary soft skills, and industry-appropriate behaviours. 

The placement process is a well-designed, well-planned system that seeks to prepare the students for the final interview to nail their dream jobs.
