Shobhit University Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Shobhit University offers scholarships to the meritorious and deserving students. Some of the scholarships offered by the university are as follows:

1. Adarsh Vidyadhan Scholarships

These scholarships are for the girl students and the amount is equal to 20 per cent of the tuition fee.

2. Defence Wards Scholarships

This scholarship is for the wards of defence, paramilitary and other forces. The amount is equal to 20 per cent of the tuition fee.

3. Babu Vijendra Shourya Samman Scholarships

This scholarship is offered by Shobhit University for the wards of martyrs in uniform. The amount of this scholarship is equal to 100 per cent of the tuition fee.

4. National Integration Scholarships 

This scholarship is for the students from the northeast states and Jammu and Kashmir. The amount is equal to 20 per cent of the tuition fee.

5. Academic Merit-Based Scholarships

For students who score between 75 - 80% marks in the qualifying exam, the amount of scholarship they get is equal to 25 per cent of the tuition fee. Those who get between 81-85%, the amount is equal to 50% of the tuition fee. Students who score between 86-90%, the amount offered to them is equal to 75 per cent of the tuition fee. Those who score more than 90 per cent, the amount offered to them is equal to 100 per cent of the tuition fee.

6. Chancellor's Scholarships 

This scholarship is offered by the university for the alumni and the amount of the scholarship is equal to 20 per cent of the tuition fee.

Note: Students can avail only one scholarship at a time. The scholarship is not applicable for courses such as B.Pharm/D. Pharm and BAMS. Students can only avail the scholarship if they have 75 per cent minimum attendance and 6.5 CGPA in the scholarship year.
