About Shobhit University
Shobhit University Admission: For undergraduate admission to the university, the CUET UG 2024 registration is tentatively scheduled to be held in February 2024 while the CUET PG registration will be held in December 2023 or January 2024. The CUET UG 2024 dates are from May 15 to 31, 2024, and the CUET PG 2024 dates are from March 11 to 28, 2024.
The university offers various courses at the UG, PG, and, Doctoral levels, in streams like engineering, management, education, law, ayurveda, pharmacy, etc. The university is located in Modipuram, Meerut, and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Shobhit University ranking is among the Top 5 Technical Universities in India by the India Today Ranking 2022. It is also accredited by the NAAC and the Law courses are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The university accepts many entrance examinations for admissions to its courses like SUNET, CAT, MAT, JEE, UPSEE, CLAT, GATE, CUET, etc. The success rate for Shobhit University placements is 90% on average with the highest package being Rs 12 lakh per annum. Apart from this, the university also offers various scholarships for financially weaker students. Shobhit University Cut Off
The Shobhit University CUET cut off will be based on the CUET UG and CUET PG exams for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses respectively. Based on the CUET scores of students, the university will release its own merit list/cutoff list for final seat allotment. Apart from this, variety of entrance exams are accepted by the university. The Shobhit University cutoff is based on the JEE Main and SUNET scores for B.Tech, the M.Tech cutoff is based on the GATE exam, for BAMS and BNYS courses, the NEET UG scores are required. Shobhit University Scholarships
- The university offers various scholarships for the students who come from financially weak backgrounds. Some of the prominent scholarships are mentioned below:
- Babu Vijendra Samman Scholarship: This scholarship is for the students of martyrs who lost their lives during their service. Students receive a 100% concession in their tuition fees as part of this scholarship.
- Sports Promotion Scholarship: The students who secure the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd positions in the games approved by the Indian Olympic Association are eligible for this scholarship.students at the state level receive 20% of the scholarship and those at the national level receive 40% of it. The international level students receive 60%.
- The Chancellor’s Scholarship: This scholarship is for the alumni members of the university. They receive 20% concession as part of this.
- Adarsh Vidyadhan Scholarship: This scholarship is for the girl candidates who are presently studying at the university. This allows a concession of 20% in the total tuition fees.
- National Integration Scholarship: The students who come from the state of Jammu and Kashmir receive this reward of 20% concession in their tuition fees.
- The Defense Wards Scholarships: The students of the defence background, paramilitary background, and other such forces fall under this category. 20% of their entire tuition fee is exempted as part of this scholarship.
