Eligibility for B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering & Mechatronics Engineering) and Integrated programme of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) + AME :

  • Candidate clear 10+2/intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (percentage as per AICTE norms)
  • For lateral entry in the Integrated programme of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) programme + AME

Students with a diploma in Engineering with 50% marks in the following branches are eligible :

Diploma in Production, Mechanical and Electronics, Industri and Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation and Control, Aeronautical Engineering, and Telecommunication Engg.

Eligibility for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering:

  •   Candidate clear 10+2 /intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

School of Aeronautics Application Process

Candidates who wish to participate in the School of Aeronautics application process in 2021 must complete an application form, which may be completed either online or offline. Before submitting an application to any of the programmes, candidates must first determine whether or not they meet the eligibility standards listed on the official website. The prospectus (together with the application form) may be obtained from the main institute for candidates who choose to apply via the offline method. Candidates must then complete and submit the application form with all of the required documentation. It is necessary for candidates to present their original documents to the interview, as well as self-attested photocopies of the same, in order to have their credentials validated.

How to get Admission to the School of Aeronautics for various courses in 2023?

Candidates need to log on to the official portal and select the course they want to apply for. The candidate would also need to present all the relevant documents or attach them with the form itself.

There is a nominal fee of Rs 1000 which is to be paid while submitting the application form. It is to be noted that this fee is non-refundable even if the candidate doesn’t take admission to this institute.

The candidate should be in the age group of 18 to 27 and know English and Hindi Language fluently. The course is for a period of 12 to 18 months.
