The School offers excellent laboratory facilities to build up the "Art of Nursing" based on scientific principles. The various laboratories are the Fundamental lab, Anatomy lab, Nutrition lab, Computer lab and Community lab. A well-stocked library with books covering all subjects of Nursing education and Spacious reading room is an asset of this institution. The Hostel Men and Women are provided with separate three-bedded accommodation with personal set of furniture for each student. The hostel also offers in-house mess facilities in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets. State-of-Art electrical and plumbing facilities are available 24 hours a day. Telecommunication facilities are available. KIMS is a Multi-Specialty Hospital with a team of highly qualified and experienced doctors. Also the hospital has a team of well-experienced Nursing personnel. This provides a very good base for the student Nurses to gain an all round clinical experience. The school is also affiliated to the Government Hospital Kasaragod for the Midwifery for the Male students and Nalapad Rehabilitation centre, Kizhur for experience in psychiatry and Kumbla "Community Health Centre" for community health nursing experience.
