Overall: It is an autonomous college for science. It provides many streams under the subject of science such as computer science, IT, defence, geology for both maths and biology students.

Placement: This college provides placements to the students from Information Technology (IT) and Computer Science (CS) section.There is no high point placements for every subjects.

Infrastructure: It has a huge building and a very old college of Chhattisgarh.It was stabilised in 1948. It has many departments of every subjects. This college has separate laboratories for different subjects for ug and pg students.

Faculty: This college has many lecturers and guest lecturers. All are very talented and sincere for their classes. They take their classes on regular basis. Faculties are completed their syllabus on time and keep motivated the students.
