Candidates aspiring to take admission to the B.Com course at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College have to first check and meet the eligibility criteria and then proceed further with the application process.
Overall: You can have blast in your those 3 years of graduation. There are many fest and activities on daily basis of different- different departments. The environment and teachers are very friendly in nature so there will be no discomfort that you can face.
Placement: In the aggregate, more than half of students get employment with various firms. Speaking specifically about B.COM (p) students, Deloitte and KPMG typically hire students (Audit Associate Profile). In addition to the Big Four, TresVista, Accenture (HR profile), and Bain and Co. have also visited the school this year. The minimum package size for BCOM is 3.5L, while the maximum is 7L. (P). Overall, SBSC offers all students, regardless of stream, strong placement possibilities.
Infrastructure: One of Delhi University's contemporary infrastructures is that of Shaheed Bharat Singh. You will have access to a two-story library with internet, air conditioning (just in the computer room), and the option to use a library laptop if you don't already have one. SBSC includes a canteen and shacks. The food at the canteen is nice and reasonably priced. I really like the samosa and dosha. The SBSC does not have a hostel.
Faculty: Although teachers are competent and good, it is you who should benefit from that. Unlike how you may have imagined professors to be, they attend classes to provide lectures and offer you the chance to ask questions. However, you will also encounter professors who attend meetings only for the sake of passing the time. Speaking about the semester examinations, passing them is rather simple.
Hostel: There is no hostel facility. But in nearby areas, you can have pg and flat services at reasonable rate. Street food services is just mind blowing. If you are street food lover then it will be best you are in this college.
Overall: Had a really great experience studying at Shaheed Bhagat Singh, the administration and professors are really helpful. I couldn't afford a laptop and really needed one while studying so i got it sanctioned from my college everybody was so helpful there.
Placement: Luckily my college has a whole devoted placement cell which helps students to get placement my college itself. Many of my batchmates got placed in companies like ey kpmg, etc।
Infrastructure: My college has a vast campus with the facilities like library, I.T.etc. along with various societies and cultural groups which really adds to the experience.
Faculty: All the professor were really great, they know their subjects really well, and they were really patient with us while teaching. You can also discuss stuff other than your studies and they are down to help you with everything.
Hostel: My college unfortunately don't provide for hostel facility. But the facilities of private pgs and flats are available. It can get a little pricey tho but if you can find it if you really search for it.
Overall: Although, college doesn't have high average placements but the college life and learnings are great here. With regular activities in college, you won't gonna bored or inactive if you participate in activities. One more thing is bad right now is that there are some attendance issues which start to happen because of the new principal policy of our college.
Placement: Although, most of the college students prefer to take higher studies but many chooses to go for placements which is quite good in bcom Hons and bcom but for other courses you need to have good skills and profile. Average placements aren't good as it is just around 6 Lakh per annum and highest was 22 - 23 lakh per annum.(placements depend on profile and experience you gain while pursuing course in the college)
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is now in upgrading phase and in C-block of the college already have smart classroom which include smart board, speakers and comfortable sitting for students(Ac still not there in majority of classrooms). There is one lift which is going to built up and the building is getting more height because new rooms is soon to be built.(one auditorium is also in the project but auditorium might take years to be completed)
Faculty: Most of the faculties members of the college like teachers and other staff would definitely perform their job responsibly however, you may face some fool staff too which are rude and doesn't do job properly
Hostel: Sbsc doesn't have any hostel but there many paying guests(pg) or flats which is available near the college so you won't have problems with accommodation. I will suggest to take flat(pg's are not good enough for comfortable and independent life)
Overall: I'm 3rd year student of shaheed bhagat singh college and overall the college is good and here you will get a variety of courses, also the placements in the college is also very high, many students got good packages in big 4.
Placement: sbsc is known for its high placement rates, many ex students are part of the big 4 and big 4 always recruit many students from sbsc also many other reputed comapanies also participate in recruitment process in sbsc.
Infrastructure: sbsc has really nice infrastructure, computer labs, classroom also the extracurricular activities areas are really nice. Students in this college enjoy comfortable graduation.
Faculty: The faculty of sbsc is decent you will get good teachers although the admin staffs are not that good. College have many other faculty for resolving grievances.
Hostel: currently sbsc doesn't have any hostel facility although there are many PG available which you can get at a very reasonable charge, but remember they are not provided by the college.
Overall: First of all I was initially from sbsec later I migrated to sbsc so my experience in both the cases were really unique. In sbsec you will get the same campus and teachers are also really good but there is only one drawback that you will get less choices of additional subjects as compared to sbsc as talking about sbsc you will get so Many choices and it's a really great experience in this college, you have many societies and extra curricular activities.Talking about the campus infrastructure it's improving and in future about in 2025 it would be very good.
Placement: According to my experience placements in sbsc are very high you will get the placement in good companies with decent package if you have proper experience by doing internship, internships are really important for you to get the placement as the hr would ask you in the interview round about your internships.
Infrastructure: Currently in 2024 the Shaheed Bhagat Singh college infrastructure improving and soon in future the campus infrastructure will will very good it will have all the necessary things required. Now the campus have really good computer labs, library is also there and there is sports complex.
Faculty: My overall experience is that Shaheed Bhagat Singh college have really good faculty although some faculty members are there who are very rude with students but are new principal will ensure that the faculty members should be nice with students
Hostel: Currently Shaheed Bhagat Singh college doesn't have any hostel but there are many PG available nearby will reasonable charge but for now sbsc don't have any hostel
Overall: SBSC is a DU affiliated college situated in Triveni Complex, South Delhi- 110017. It has been a top college in the south campus. Here you get to enjoy your college life. You will love the mix of education, society and competitions. Making it a great experience.
Placement: A fully operational and functional placement here helps students grab placement opportunities. They bring in a bunch of offers for students with great packages. They help you at each phase of placement and help you in coordinating with companies. Some of the companies are Deloitte, PwC, Boston consultancy, etc.
Infrastructure: At SBSC we have large rooms to occupy the capacity of students. They are fully ventilated and cool except for some areas which needs to be improved. Here you are offered a great source of books i.e. library.
Faculty: You will get a great faculty and staff readily available for any help you require. A proper system has been set to listen to your queries and issues and quick resolution is provided. The teachers are very helpful. They will guide you during your college phase.
Hostel: At SBSC we don't get hostel facility rather students stay in PG and rental appartments nearby or commute from there residence. Therefore, one should consider this fact.
Overall: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has two shifts, morning and evening. My review will mostly focus on morning as both the shifts have different experiences. The college is academically very good, societies are also very active and there are plenty of societies to join according to one's speciality and interest, it'll definitely improve your skills and experiences! The Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one of the best college in South campus. It is definitely a good option for the students wanting to persue B.Com hons. Overall the college is definitely worth to be in.
Placement: The B.Com hons students will really enjoy the placements if they'll perform well enough to get placements. It has an average package of around 6-7 lakhs and with highest package of more than 20 lakhs.
Infrastructure: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College doesn't have a very big campus and also not very aesthetic or explorable. It has a big enough ground where there's a lawn tennis court, basketball court both covered with nets, open air volleyball court, open air badminton court and rest of the area in the ground is used to play cricket and football, again the ground is big enough but it doesn't have any indoor auditorium. The college is currently under construction, we'll see some upgrades in infrastructure in the coming future, also an auditorium is under construction too. The college has enough classrooms with some of the rooms are really good (mostly new ones) and some of the rooms are old and small. It has enough seminar rooms which are actually pretty good and it also has very well equipped computer labs, a canteen with huge menu with reasonable prices and a cafe. Overall on infrastructure I would say, it's moderate, some of the things are really good some are moderate and not really bad. The current principal of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is currently working on infrastructure upgradation.
Faculty: The faculties are top notch, very regular and highly skilled, well qualified for sure. There's no doubt on the faculties, you won't have complains about the faculties however you'll find 1/7 teachers are actually very strict, but I'm talking about their teaching skills here which matters the most. You just need to be sincere otherwise some of them will really question your sincerity and you might see the impact on your internals but not necessarily. Overall the faculties are again, top notch.
Hostel: I don't think it's possible to have hostels in the college for more upcoming years in the college. It doesn't have any good space to set up hostel building.
Placement: Placement cell of Shaheed bhagat singh college is Good the college offers average annual package of 5-8 lakhs.college also provide internship opportunities to the students to gain experience and expertise in particular field
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good.the nee authorities are taking continuous actions for the improvement of the campus.construction work is in progress more classrooms, new auditorium, lifts are being installed.
Faculty: The faculty of Shaheed bhagat singh college is very supportive and helpful.best human resource is there.the professors are very humble and supportive.
Hostel: Shaheed bhagat singh college (morning) don't provide hostel facilities however you can find pgs, flat near the college campus at very affordable prices .
