Sharda University Celebrates International Yoga Day

Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Dean Student welfare jointly organised an event on the occassion of International Yoga Day at the campus. The event featured a series of yoga sessions suitable for all levels, led by certified yoga instructors. With a variety of yoga styles to choose from, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin, there was something for everyone. All participants got a holistic experience from the sessions, which emphasised physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation.

The celebration began with a welcome address by YK Gupta, Pro Chancellor, Sharda University, who emphasised the importance of yoga in fostering physical and mental health. Dr. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Dean Research; Dr. Ajit Kumar, Director PR; Dr. Pramod Kumar, Dr. Kapil Dave, and many others were also present at the event.

Sharda University Launches Bharatiya Sanskriti Vaishvik Kendra to Promote Indian Culture Globally

Sharda University launched the Bharatiya Sanskriti Vaishvik Kendra on April 12, 2024, aiming to create a global platform for Indian knowledge and address key national issues. The centre, inaugurated by notable figures including retired IAS Deepak Singhal and Padma Bhushan Prof. Kapil Kapoor, will promote and protect Indian culture. Prof. Kapoor emphasised the importance of teaching in one's own language and preserving heritage. Sharda University's Pro Chancellor, YK Gupta, expressed pride in the initiative, highlighting the centre's role in educating students about Indian culture. IAS Deepak Singhal stressed the need for action over speeches for the centre's success. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sibaram Khara, along with other dignitaries, were present at the event. The centre is seen as a significant step towards cultural preservation and education.

Sharda University Hosts Two-Day Cultural Fest 'Sangam Ullas' Drawing Global Talent

Sharda University recently hosted a two-day cultural fest, "Sangam Ullas", attracting participants from over 95 countries. The event showcased a variety of competitions, including dance, music, fashion, drama, sports, and photography. The highlight was a performance by MC SQUARE and DJ Suitup. The festival, which was attended by faculty members and students of Sharda University, featured over 20 events, ranging from debates to fashion shows, comedy performances to rap wars. Chancellor PK Gupta stated that the event fostered a sense of inclusivity and appreciation for cultural diversity. The fest also featured a "March" by international students, representing their national heritage.

Instructions to Upload Signature in GATE Application Form 2025: GATE registration 2025 with late fees has been completed on October 11, 2024. IIT Roorkee will open the GATE 2025 application form correction window is being done till November 6, 2024. During the GATE registration 2025, candidates have to upload important documents that include their signatures. The signature must be uploaded as per the guidelines and specifications shared by IIT Roorkee or the application will be rejected. As per the GATE 2025 signature guidelines, candidates must upload an image of their signature in JPEG/JPG format with an aspect ratio (height: width) of 1: R, where R ranges from 2.75 to 3.75. The file size of the GATE 2025 signature must be at least 3 KB and not more than 1 MB. Candidates must provide their own signatures only and not of their parents or any other person. No one else should forge a candidate's signature and upload it. If the candidate’s signature does not match at the time of verification, he/ she will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Instructions to Upload Photograph in GATE 2025 Application Form: GATE registrations 2025 with late fees has been concluded on October 11, 2024. The GATE 2025 application form corrections is being done till November 6, 2024. IIT Roorkee released the guidelines for uploading the photograph in GATE application form 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. An important aspect of the GATE registration process is uploading documents. Many candidates make mistakes when uploading improper photographs, which results in application failure. To successfully upload a photograph in the GATE application form 2025 candidates must ensure they have a passport-size photograph (dimensions 3.5 cm width × 4.5 cm height). The photo should be in JPEG/JPG format. The applicant's face should cover most of the photo. The background of the photograph should be white with no objects behind it. Most importantly, the candidate should be facing directly towards the camera with forehead, eyes, nose, and chin visible. Dear student,

There is no need to pass an entrance exam for admission to GNM course at Sharda University. The university offers admission on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. So if you score well in class 12 then you will be able to rank high in the merit list prepared for Sharda University admission to GNM. Students also need to be more than 17 years and less than 35 years of age to get admission. Sharda University fees for the GNM course is  Rs 85,000 per year. It is a three year course offered in regular mode of study.

Thanks for contacting Collegedkeho Q & A portal. I want to inform you that  Sharda University does not offer any Diploma course for mechanical engineering. It only offers two Diploma courses: Diploma in Clinical Medical Practises from Allied Health Science and Pharmacy and a Diploma in Pharmacy from the Pharmacy sector. 

Though University also offers below mentioned courses in the Mechanical Engineering branch. Students who will enrol for the B.Tech course need to pay around 1.9 L per annum.

In some courses its compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like b.tech, b.arch and mba, but in courses like ba, b.com, bba its not necessary to appear in LPUNEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPUNEST.
