Sri Sharada Nursing College About Library

Library is an integral part of learning process. Sharada college of Nursing has a fully equipped library which has more than 2300 book titles, reference material, and adequate journals both Indian and foreign. It has a separate wing of Computers facilities with Internet for online and offline learning to kindle academic excellence in nursing. Every year books are added to the library based on the requirement of the students. The Library is under the in charge of awell qualified and experienced Librarian and two Assistant Librarians who make it a point that the users feel comfortable in all respects while utilizing the library. Library consists of well seating arrangements for comfortable reading & writing more than 100 students with study in the library. The whole area of the library is covered under CCTV surveillance.

NURSING FOUNDATION LABFundamentals of nursing laboratory helps to develop student 's ability to learn the various basic nursing procedures and excel their clinical competence to meet the basic health need of the patients. This lab is big enough to accommodate the entire class at a time and equipped with demonstration bed, dummy models and enough articles to perform the nursing procedures according to the number of students. It also has many Charts and models for improving the knowledge of the students regarding nursing practice.

It is an integral part of Nursing programme which provides basic concepts of community health which deals with treating and preventing communicable and non-communicable diseases. Sri Sharada College of Nursing has a CHN lab with all necessary infrastructure, models, materials and articles required for practicing nursing procedure in a community set up ( bag, flash cards, puppets, flannel board, flip charts etc).Our students indulge in various activities like General health checkups, under five assessment school health programme, Nutritional assessment health education, door to door care etc. Community field practice areas - Rural - Kaggalipura, Urban - Uttarahalli.
