Overall: St. Xavier's University kolkata currently as of 2024 is affiliated to Calcutta University. However, it will deem its autonomous status soon in the coming year.Majority of faculties are well qualified and upto the mark specially talking about law faculty. University organises many national event and is well on the news regarding the same,however the academic pressure is much more than other colleges, as it it very much understandable from the name Xavier's itself. ONE need to be careful about the attendance, which should not be less than 75% , or else you will be debarred and your 1 year can get wasted. Be careful about attendance. Others thing remaining the same, Xavier's can be hell or heaven, its upto you.

Placement: The students of Bcom and BMS land into good offer where companies such as flipkart, Deloitee, Tcs, other Assest management companies are brought. The University has tied up with some of the organization as well. There are many good companies which sponsors the annual or intra fests which are held every now and then.

Infrastructure: The availability of good infrastructure is the ultimate dream of every freshers in college and Xavier's fulfills it. They are well equip classroom, and the academic building is well maintain, and furnished with Acs, desks,water filter, etc

Faculty: The faculties are well qualified and trained. They are very much into giving their best and leaves no stone unturned to make a meaning of their lecture They make sure that every student are attentive and grasping what they are taught
