It achieved a St Xavier’s University placement percentage of 100% for its MBA students, wherein 65 out of 65 MBA students were placed successfully in top organisations. The highest package offered for MBA was Rs 20 lakh per annum. On the other hand, a total of 21 companies participated in the SXUK placement drives 2023 to recruit its M.Com students. The average package received by the M.Com students was Rs 4.7 lakh per annum. Some of the top recruiters at St. Xavier’s University were Dabur, Deloitte, SVF, J Thomas & Co., David & Goliath, Capgemini, and many others.

The university has a dedicated placement cell to handle the St. Xavier’s University placement process and other allied activities. The cell connects its students with prospective recruiters as per their interests and capabilities. During every St Xavier’s University Kolkata placement season, the cell invites recruiters from various industries to conduct on-campus placement drives. At the same time, it takes care of a range of other activities like resume writing workshops, GD sessions, and mock interviews.
