Law is in demand among students nowadays, which led to the emergence of new law schools in India. Different types of law courses are offered to the students which makes the aspirants interested in studying the course after their class 12 or graduation. While selecting private law colleges, candidates should keep in mind that they select the top law schools. Law aspirant often gets perplexed when they have to decide on the correct degree and professional path. There are two types of undergraduate law courses, 5-year Integrated LL.B and 3-year LL.B. Students can study the 3-year law degree only after they have completed their bachelor’s while students can study 5-year LLB right after they complete their Class 12. ​The SLAT 2024 counselling process will begin after the release of the SLAT result. Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS) will provide the counselling schedule online on their website. The counselling round will be held separately for each participating SLS. The counselling process in SLS Nagpur will begin on June 14, 2024 while in other colleges, the counselling will be conducted on June 15, June 17 and June 18, 2024. The SLAT 2024 result is expected to be released on May 22, 2024. The SLAT 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5 for Test 1 and May 11, 2024 for Test 2.

SLAT 2024 cutoff will be released by Symbiosis International University (Deemed) and is not the same for all Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS). Once the exam results are released on May 22, 2024, candidates can check the individual cutoff. The exam cutoff will be released online and it is the minimum score that candidates need to score in SLAT 2024 to be eligible for admission in different SLSs. The candidates who have appeared in SLAT 2024 on May 5 and May 11 should get good scores to become eligible for admission. The expected SLAT 2024 cutoff is 43+ to 45+ in SLS Noida and Pune while in SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur, the cutoff is expected to be 41+ or 43+. The merit list of SLAT 2024 will be released after adjusting the entrance exam score to 50 marks and PI-WAT scores.

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is a standardized entrance exam for admission to four Symbiosis law schools located in Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur. It offers admission to programs such as BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB, and BBA LLB. Administered annually by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SLAT is conducted online and consists of 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total score of 60 points, lasting 60 minutes. SLAT 2024 is set to take place over two days in May 2024. The slot booking procedure will kick off immediately after the release of SLAT 2024 results. Symbiosis International University (SIU) will initiate the booking window, allowing candidates to choose their preferred slot from the available dates. SIU conducts the annual SLAT slot booking process online, where students can secure their slots by logging into the candidate portal. Once the applicant's preference is confirmed, they will receive details about the exam date and timing.

The UGC NET Important Topics for Law includes topics from Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law & Administrative Law, Public International Law & IHL, and Law of Crimes. The UGC NET Law syllabus includes ten units prescribed by the UGC.  The NTA has rescheduled the UGC NET 2024 June Cycle exam to be held between August 21 to September 4, 2024, from its former date of June 18, 2024. Candidates can review the NTA UGC NET Law syllabus 2024 and exam pattern to optimize their preparation strategy.  The NTA administers the UGC NET Law exam for law graduates and final-year students interested in academic careers. The UGC NET exam is held twice a year in June and December, and for those aspiring to be assistant professors, junior research fellows, or similar positions. The exam consists of two objective-type papers (MCQs).

The UGC NET is a nationwide competitive exam conducted by the NTA to recruit Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellows for Indian universities and colleges. CLAT 2025 Notification: The Consortium of NLUs (National Law Universities) will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2025) in December, and the notification is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2024, through print and electronic media. CLAT 2025 is a national-level law entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate(UG) and postgraduate(PG) law programmes offered by 22 NLUs in India. The official notification will be released at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The CLAT 2025 notification will include details such as eligibility criteria, exam pattern and syllabus, exam date and application process etc. As per the previous years’ trends, the CLAT examination was consecutively held on the first Sunday of December. Last year, the exam was conducted on December 3. Hence, CLAT 2025 will be held this year on December 01, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
