Tagore Institute of Engineering and Technology Campus
The main building of the college is magnificent. The classrooms are big and well equipped with modern teaching aids or better understanding of the students. The laboratories are well-equipped along with seminar halls, lecture halls, workshops, browsing centre, well-stocked library, drawing halls, etc. The college provides hostel facilities. Separate hostels are rendered for girls and boys. Good transport facility is available. The cafeteria provides hygienic and nutritious food. The main block has the library on the ground floor. The total floor area of the library is a massive 4000 sq. m.The library is divided into three main sections:The stock room has different books, journals and other reading material stocked in a very neat and modern manner. The reading room has a seating capacity of 100. The circulation section has books for referring mostly subject oriented. Audio and visual aids are also there for better understanding of the students.Hi-speed internet facility is also available for the faculty and students. Sports facilities are also there keeping in mind the physical fitness of the students.
| Library | The Library of Tagore Institute of Engineering and Technology has set its vision to satisfy the user community the Central Library is situated in the ground floor of the Main Block. with a floor area of about 4000 s.q. mts. The 3 main sections of the Library. The stock room with reference section. The reading hall with periodicals section. The circulation / reprography / administration section. The unique feature of our library is the compulsory library hour, which is included in the students timetable (one hour per week for each class). It gives the students ample time to use the Library facility. Working Hours 8.30 A.M to 6.00 P.M on all working days. 8.30 A.M to 1.30 P.M on all Sundays. |
