Awareness Session on “Eco-friendly Ganesh Festival”

The Social Responsibility Cell took the initiative of creating awareness on Eco-friendly Ganesh Festival for MMS & PGDM students as well as their parents. The purpose of conducting the session was to make the audience aware of the after effects of Ganesh festival and motivating them to switch to Eco-friendly practices by using Ganesh Idols made of paper and clay and other environmentally friendly material. The session was conducted on August 05, 2017.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell at TIMSR aims to help budding entrepreneurs by providing a platform to showcase their talents. We conduct a lot of workshops, training, skill development programmes and activities like ESchool and E-Week which enhances and brings out the entrepreneurial qualities in students. Each year students get a chance to put their own innovative startup in the campus itself which gives them a great platform for running their own venture. EDC encourages future managers to focus not just on their managerial skills but also on their entrepreneurial, leadership qualities and gain practical knowledge through this.

Social Responsibility Cell inculcates the passion to promote social well-being of vulnerable population through constant endeavors and acting as the facilitators of the same. SRC acts as a motivator for young students to come together from all walks of life and join together to work for the cause of upliftment of the society. It harnesses the support, time and skills of its volunteers to work for various initiatives.
