Hostel: Hostel fecilities are very good for my college seperate for girls and boys. they provide tasty and healthy food always lookafter for girls morning breakfast lunch dinner and provide snaks also at evening time
Placement: The university's placement cell is quite active, and they have a strong track record of placing students in respectable businesses. many campanines come here to hire you so for placements there is nothing to worry.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the main thing that increases students' interest in choosing this university over other colleges and universities, and universities provide all over with a full campus and provide each student with their username and password for Wi-Fi use, and labs are fully AC.
Faculty: Faculty is qualified with PHD and masters in several subject according to the interest. The teachers are quite friendly and approachable they help you even after college but could be better anyday as compared to others. Their should be practical labs and students should have a practical approach towards the subject.

Our college provides internships. The top role offered is the engine side job in the engine room. Infrastructure: Our campus provides good facilities. Classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled and air-conditioned. The library is Wi-Fi enabled, and a variety of books are available. The hostel facilities are very good. The mess facility is available in the hostel and provides good food. Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, experienced, and very knowledgeable. They always clear all doubts regarding this field. This course train students very well. Semester exams are related to the syllabus.
Overall: Placements: Tolani has a very good placement department. About 90% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 1000 USD. Top recruiting companies are Maersk, MOL Tankers, Teekay, BW Shipping and many more. All the students get internships in their final semester. Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure here are excellent. The hostel facilities are good. Free internet connection, sickbay, warden, sports facilities (badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, and football field) are available. Faculty: Our faculty are the best in the world. They are very helpful, and their teaching quality is the best. The curriculum is quite relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Overall: Placements: Tolani is one of the best marine college having good placement for B.Tech marine and B.Sc. nautical. Many companies like teekay, chevron, Maersk, scorpion, bsm, eps comes in tmi for placement. Packages offered are very decent. Tolani is brand for merchant Navy career . Infrastructure: B.Tech Marine is future in marine field. Marine engineers are all rounder they can serve in any engineering field. The hostels in Tolani are fabulous having double occupancy rooms, mess, tv rooms, muster station etc. The mess food is amazing and delicious . Faculty: Best faculty for every subject. They teach very good way and simple way. Very deep knowledge given by faculty. The semester exams are not that much difficult and also have online paper submission method. Extra curricular activities are benchmark to enjoy in Tolani .
Overall: Placements: The placement here is good as compared to other colleges. Companies come here are best some names are teekay, maersk, bw, bsm, scorpio tankers, nyk, k-line, mol tankers, molta, eps, dole, chevron, carnival cruise and many more come here. Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the hostel is very good. There are 4 hostels in the college like h-1, h-2, girls hostel, and h-3. Hostels have good food and the security here is also good inside the hostel. In one room, 2 cadets live and the bathroom is common. Faculty: The faculty here is the best and also well updated in maritime field. There are many ex-captains and ex-chief engineers as well as many retired navy officers are there as the faculty and many outstanding teachers are there. Course curriculum is decided by the government institute imu and the exams here happen in every 1 month. The class tests and semester exams happen in every 6 months.
Overall: Placements: In the batch of 2018-2022, the placements took a beat due to covid, but it was still good. About 150 cadets got placed in the college, and many others got placed off-campus. All the companies that come to TMI provide students with good packages, ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,00,000, depending on the company. A large number of students (around 100) did internships on our on-campus ship, i.e., Prabhu Vidya, and got placed in various reputed companies. If you pursue B.Tech in marine engineering, you will get a post of trainee cadet or engine cadet. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have a workshop with all types of machines. We have an on-board ship which is a prototype of a real ship and has all the machines and equipment available in a real vessel. Hostels are good, and the mess food is good compared to general mess food. Faculty: Faculty members are very experienced, and many of them are retired naval officers and people who have had a career in sailing before. The course makes students industry-ready as it provides the best practical knowledge and skills you can get in any marine college in India. Semester exams are easy if you study regularly and make sure you are also good in co-curricular activities. Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in Merchant Navy. There are still some old rules to be followed in TMI, which are practically irrelevant and engage students in various activities. We have a fest every year, and we celebrated our 25th anniversary last week, which included performances from famous singers, dancers and entertainers as well as from our students.
Overall: Placements: In our college, 90% students were placed, and others get placed after doing internship. The highest package was offered about 1400$ and the lowest was offered about 900$. The top recruiting companies are MOL, Maersk, M.Sc. synergy, Tk and BW, etc. Above 75% students got internships. Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are very good. We get practically everything here such as workshops to learn electrical work, power machines, welding, carpentry, plumbing as we will need these in our future. The hostels are also good, we have all sports, indoors and outdoors. We have courts for outdoor activities and sports. Faculty: Teachers are also helpful because here, 90% teachers have sailing experience, and all are qualified. Their teaching quality is also good. We have real ship with engine which helps for making us industry ready. Curriculum course is also relevant. Semester exams are little bit difficult because we have vast portions to cover and we are able to study only 80% of it.
Overall: Placements: Last year almost all the cadets got placement in different companies like NYK, BSM, BW, stena etc. Average stipend which a cadets is approximately 600 dollars it differs from company to company. Just put efforts on your academic don't get any back and a good company can hire you easily. Infrastructure: Facilities are good, we have LAN cables in every room and classrooms are also good we have projector AC in every class. Library is also very good we have all types of book and sitting arrangement also quite proper and we have proper courts for all indoor and outdoor activities. Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and 80%of teachers have sailing experience, they will all support you in your academic every time whenever you feel low in studies faculty will push yoir limits and faculty will help you in your academic every time whenever you want help .
Overall: Placements: The placement scenario at TMI is the best among all other maritime training institutes in India. In the current fourth year, almost 65% of students are already placed, and many other companies are coming by the end of the year. In B.Sc. Nautical Science, there are 100% placements. The companies that employ cadets from TMI are some of the best in the field, like Maersk, Chevron, TK, K Line, BSM, etc. TMI is the only institute in India that has a ship on campus for internships. Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of this institute are very good. It is among the best institutes in India, so it is quite obvious that all the facilities have to be good. There is Wi-Fi in every classroom, and there is a well-equipped library. The hostels are good. The new hostels, h2 and h3, are good, but h1 students have some complaints. Facilities for sports and games are good. Faculty: Just like all other colleges and institutes, some teachers are excellent and some are not. All teachers are well qualified and helpful. Some teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable but can't teach properly. The course curriculum is quite good and it definitely makes us industry-ready. If you study, the semester exams are easy. It totally depends on you. You must pay close attention in class and study and revise them in the hostel. The pass percentage is average. Other: If you compare the value to money, then it is average because the value is quite good but the fee is very high. If you go to any other institute for the same course, then the total cost would be almost half. TMI is the best in business, but the fee is quite high. There is always some event going on at the college, so you will definitely enjoy it. An annual fest, Horizon, also takes place. There are many scholarships, and if you study well, then you can get them. It is located on the outskirts of Pune, and you will be able to enjoy city life on weekends.
