Overall: University of Madras is more than 100 years old and holds a big legacy. The university is punctual in conducting exams and publishing results. The faculties are experienced PhD holders. The fees for each courses varies.

Placement: Only a few departments have campus interviews and placements. But most of the departments makes sure that the students have adequate field experiences in their particular stream.

Infrastructure: University of Madras provide their students with maximum infrastructure facilities they can have. It mainly depends upon each departments in the university.

Faculty: All the departments have experienced facilities to teach the students. Most of them are PhD holders. Apart from professors there are PhD scholors to help students

Hostel: Only one hostel is available right now for students that too far from main campuses. The boys and girls hostel are in the same compound. The facilities and fees are all okay.
