Overall: The University Visvesvaraya College of engineering is the first college of Karnataka, and had an outstanding value in earlier days but now it's quality and number of faculty with knowledge is less comparatively, for masters there is no opportunity of placement, and a master's degree need 3 years and bove to complete now because of its administrative delay,

Placement: The placement cell of University Visvesvaraya College of engineering should need development because there is no placement for M.E civil students through college placement cell, other branches had a bit of opportunities but it is not sufficient to the number of students

Infrastructure: The building structure is very Old but still good in condition but due to less numbers of attenders and facilities the maintenance is very poor, recently painted due to some function

Faculty: The quality of faculty of government appointed faculty is less in number but much knowledgeable persons , B.E in this college classes are mostly taken from guest faculty

Hostel: The boys hostel located 1.5 km from college, but girls hostels is just 300 meters , the food at boys hostels is good and hygiene in condition, the mess bill may vary from 2800- 3000
