The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is situated in Bangalore in the Karnataka state of India. Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya founded this university in the year 1917. At present, UVCE Bangalore is affiliated with Bangalore university. The candidates can take admission to six different UVCE Bangalore courses including Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Science. UVCE B.Tech Eligibility 2024
- Candidates who are seeking UVCE B.tech admission have to qualify for KCET.
- Aspirants must have completed their 12th grade with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology for UVCE admission.
- English is mandatory as one of the languages.
- For SC/ST category candidates, the passing mark is 40%.
UVCE B.Arch Eligibility 2024
- Candidates who are seeking UVCE B.Arch admission have to qualify for the entrance test conducted by NATA.
- Aspirants must have completed their 12th grade with a minimum of 50% aggregate with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- For SC/ST category candidates, the passing mark is 45%.
UVCE ME Eligibility 2024
- Candidates who are seeking UVCE ME admission have to qualify for GATE or PGCET.
- Candidates must hold a valid graduate degree from a government-recognized university or college.
- Aspirants with a valid GATE score are given priority.
- Aspirants must have a minimum of 45% for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
- For general category candidates, the passing mark is 50%.
UVCE Ph.D. Eligibility 2024
- Candidates who are seeking UVCE Ph. D. admission have to qualify for GATE or UGC-NET or KCET.
- Aspirants must have a master's degree from a recognized university.
- The minimum mark required is 50%
All interested candidates are required to qualify for the Common Entrance Test (CET) or Aptitude Test for UVCE Bangalore UG course admission and candidates for PG course have to pass the PGCET and seats will be allotted to the selected candidates.
