Photography Club -

Health Club -

Health of young generation is of paramount importance. Health is certainly wealth and the real wealth of nation is its future generation. Health is condition (mental and physical) in which the individual is functionally well adjusted internally with respect to body parts and externally with his environment. To sensitize our students with the importance of health and wellness, VIM has stared the Health and Wellness Club- SWASTHYA Club.

Scope: All institute level activities. Club will organize certain activities for benefit all students from SEM I.

Key Activities:

  • Poster presentations on nutrition, dietary foods / Home Made remedies etc.

  • Recipe competition on Diet food

  • Yoga Training

  • Blood donation camp

  • Session on emergency first aid or healthy diet.

  • Celebrating laughter day

  • Medical Checkup


Art & Craft Club -

Creativity involves an ability to come up with new and different viewpoints on a subject. Creative problem-solving is an important dimension to managerial activity. Rapidly changing business environments produce problems which managers have not previously encountered. Tried and trusted methods of approaching new problems can meet with failure. The need for exploring and developing the creative side among management is very important. The Fine Arts club has the vision to facilitate overall development and enrichment of human capital at VIM through its various creative endeavors.

Scope:All individual and group creative activities. Will exclude singing and dancing related activities.

Book Club -

Book club is a voluntary, student centered, student-driven activity. It is for a group of students who love reading. They meet together as a book club, discuss parts of the book they have read, and work together to help understand thebook. Book club is a fun way to encourage collaborative reading strategies. BRACT’s Vishwakarma Institute of Management believes that reading books is an excellent way to excite and stimulate young minds. Reading improves a student’s listening, writing, oral, and artistic abilities. VIM’s book club is called ‘Bibliophile’. The tag line for this clubis ‘Expand your mind’.

Scope:The ‘Bibliophile’ book club will have a wide-ranging scope in terms of language in which the books are written, category of non-fiction books and platform on which the book is available (hard copy, soft copy or online). The book may be written by an author of any religion and nationality. The book may have any number of pages.

Sports Club -

Sports club provide the opportunity for participants to engage in and derive the pleasures and benefits of various sport activities.  It is a student-initiated activity that relies on the students to be responsible for leadership, decision-making, organization, and supervision of all club actions. Clubs are organized on instruction, recreational, and competitive levels and their activities range from informal play and practice to intercollegiate and tournament competition.  Sports club are open to those all VIM associated including faculty/staff, and alumni.

Adventure Club -

At VIM we have students coming from varied academic as well as demographic background. For majority of these students these two years are probably the last formal learning period. The next step for them is getting a good employment. At VIM, we reinforce the same thoughts day in day out through various academic inputs and employment enhancement activities. Though the intention of such endeavors is for the benefit of the students, often it is noticed that students get pressurized due to this rigour. Coupled with this there is a continuous stress which this generation has to cope up with, mainly due to expectations from parents, peers and most importantly from themselves. The adventure club provides a way out to bust this stress, explore their own capabilities and at the same time learn certain essentials of professional life. The activities in this club are chosen to foster this thought process and inculcate varied managerial skills so as help students succeed in their management career.

Cultural Club -

Students @ VIM come from diverse cultural background. It is this diversity that translates into a need for a platform to share, represents and immerse into various cultural activities. Cultural club will thereby assists students’ community to understand cultural diversity that India represents. It will also help students in realizing the Indian ethos. Cultural club will comprise of student members and faculty coordinators. Varied cultural activities will be proposed and scheduled in the event calendar. The club will have office bearers viz. convener, co-convener, treasurer and member secretary. All events will be plan and executed by club members. Faculty coordinators will function as a facilitator.

Social Club -

It is not too long since the Wall Street Tsunami, and the aftershocks are still felt even today. There has been a global financial crisis since the last couple of years. But there are some valuable lessons we have learnt in this context. Let’s consider a situation. In case of a cyclonic storm, which tree will survive; a banana tree with superficial roots or coconut tree with strongly entrenched roots in the ground? Well the answer seems to be obvious. India can be easily related to the Coconut tree. Which means the culture and traditional approach to business is what saved us from the Financial Tsunami.

Scope:The ESR club activities will involve initiatives on-campus and off-campus. Only students registered for the club shall be the volunteers for the various activities. The nature, duration and framework of the activity will be governed as per the requirements.

  • HIV AIDS Awareness Programme
