As per the NEET Marking Pattern, scoring 170 marks in the NEET exam 2025 will not guarantee admission to the top medical colleges. However, you can wait for the cutoff released by the individual college during the counselling process.
With a NEET score of 409 marks and belonging to EwS category, there are very feeble chances for MBBS courses in the Maharashtra government or semi-government colleges. The EWS cutoff is expected to be higher, at around 570 to 620+ marks. However, students may get a seat in private colleges.
With a NEET score of 457 marks and belonging to Karnataka state, getting a seat in top medical colleges like AIIMS Delhi, Madras Medical College, or Government Medical College is challenging as the cutoffs are higher for 2025. Yet, students can get into private or deemed universities like the Galgotias University Greater Noida, SGT University, SHUTAS Allahabad, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, etc. Their probability of getting a seat in the medical colleges will depend on the seat matrix for each round and will differ for each category.
To get BVSc admission through NEET, students need to meet the NEET 2025 Cutoff for Veterinary. They must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects.
