Admission to Yagyavalkya Institute of Technology (YIT), Jaipur, is primarily based on entrance exams and merit. For undergraduate B.Tech programs, admission is through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP), which considers scores from the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and 10+2 marks. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, along with Chemistry or other relevant subjects, with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
For postgraduate M.Tech programs, admission is based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores or B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./M.C.A percentage. The Centralized Admission Committee of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) manages the admission process for M.Tech courses. The institute offers various specializations in engineering at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, affiliated with RTU, Kota.
In all M. Tech. programmes the admission shall be granted on the basis of valid GATE score and in case of vacancy the candidates not having GATE score shall be provided admission as per Undergraduate merit/interview/written test.
Admission to eligible candidates in Engineering courses at YIT is based on 10+2 and RPET or AIEEE merit and will be decided by the Centralized Admission Committee and the institute. The selected students shall report to the Admission Committee of YIT for filling the college form and depositing the fee by the scheduled date.
