• The cut-off percentage varies from university to university but, candidates must have scored at least 50 per cent marks in their graduation. 

• Students are also required to crack a relevant entrance exam for the intended university/ medical college/ institute. 

Licencing Requirements

• Candidates must also be an RM (Registered Midwife) or RN (Registered Nurse) either by INC or a State Nursing Registration Council. 

Work Experience Requirements

• Candidates must have at least one year of work experience after completing their bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

• The work experience must be in a relevant field. 

Admission Process for M.Sc. in Medical-Surgical Nursing  

• The admission to M.Sc. in Medical-Surgical Nursing is done through entrance exams.

• Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams whereas, some offer admission through state entrance exams.
