Indus University Scholarship Types
There are two types of scholarships offered at Indus University, private and government scholarships. POSCO offers merit-based scholarships to B.Tech students. Government schemes such as Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) and Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PMUSP) Yojana are provided to UG and PG students. Apart from that need-based scholarships by the government are also offered.

| Category | Eligibility |
| Girls | Girls who have passed class 12 and belong to 50 talukas with less than a 50% female literacy rate. |
| Children of CRPF, SRPF and the Police force of Gujrat State | Children of Central Reserve Police Force, State Reserve Police Force & Police Force of Gujarat State who are natives of Gujarat State, martyred or permanently disabled during the duties due to reasons such as war, terrorism, Naxalism. |
| Children of Labourer | Children admitted to any programme after Class 12 whose parents are labourers possessing a Labour Card. |
| Disability | Children or his/her parents with more than 40% disability. |
| Children of widow | Children of the widow, who get admission in any programme after Class 12. |
| Orphans | Orphan children, enrolled in a course after Class 12 whose both parents have expired. |
