About Navsari Agricultural University
Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) is an iconic educational and farmers welfare institute located in south Gujarat. With its headquarters located in Navsari, the university was established on May 1, 2004 through the Gujarat Agricultural University Act 2004. There are seven colleges under NAU’s jurisdiction offering five bachelor’s degrees, 27 master’s degrees and one doctoral degree. All the seven constituent colleges of NAU are accredited by the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board of ICAR, New Delhi up to March 31, 2026. Further, NAU has 25 research centres at 15 locations that carry out different research on mandated crops like cotton, sugarcane, paddy, etc.
