Palamuru University was established in the year 2008. It is a public state university, situated in Mehbubnagar, Telangana. Palamuru University was officially inaugurated by the G O.Ms. No 99. Higher Education (U E.Il). The university currently consists of 155 associated colleges that offer a variety of UG, PG, and professional study programmes to its close to 60,000 student population. The university has been recognised by UGC and approved by various organisations like NCTE, AIU and PCI. It has also been accredited by NAAC with a “B” grade. The Palamuru University campus is spread over an area of more than 171 acres.
