About PRSU
Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), Raipur is a state public university established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 1964. The university is named after the first chief minister of Madhya Pradesh i.e. M.P. Shri Ravi Shankar Shukla. The university is popularly known as PRSU Raipur. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). PRSU has been ranked 78th in NIRF Ranking 2022 in the pharmacy category. Furthermore, the university was also ranked in the 150 - 200 band in the university category in NIRF Ranking 2022.
The gigantic campus of the university covers an area of 300.17 acres of land. PRSU offers certificate, diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees. The university has a total of 29 departments. Some of the popular courses offered are BA LLB, B.Voc, B.Pharma, MA, MSW, LLM, M.Phil etc. PRSU offers both merit based and entrance exam based admission (depending on the course).
