Lucknow University courses are offered at UG, PG, doctoral, diploma and certificate levels. Admission to most courses available at LU is merit-based. At the UG level, 15 courses are offered by Lucknow University including the most sought-after BTech programme. Other UG courses are BA, BCom, BBA, B.Sc, BCA, LLB, BVA and BFA. At the PG level, a total of 67 courses are available across varied disciplines. Lucknow University admission is offered through either the university-owned entrance exam or government entrance exams. JEE Main entrance test forms the basis for B.Tech admissions at the University of Lucknow. MBA admission is based on Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) scores. For admission to most UG courses, LU conducts the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) and Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) for admission to various PG courses. Step 3: Appearing for Entrance Examination

• Now, candidates need to appear for respective entrance exams for admission to UG and PG courses.

• Lucknow University will shortlist candidates based on their performance in the entrance examination.

Step 5: Personal Interview
