Aditya Birla Capital Scholarship

The Aditya Birla Capital Scholarship 2024-25, launched by the Aditya Birla Capital Foundation, provides financial support to school and college students, focusing on sustaining their education. This initiative targets students in Classes 9 to 12 and undergraduates, offering scholarships of up to INR 60,000 to cover academic expenses. Along with financial assistance, selected students receive mentorship to enhance their academic journey.

Let’s have a look at the various scholarships under the Aditya Birla Capital Scholarship 2024-25 program:

Scholarship for Classes 1-8

This scholarship is meant to provide young students (Classes 1-8) INR 18,000 to foot basic education needs. More young students from needy families can continue with their classes with this scholarship.

Scholarship for Classes 9-12

Encouraging students of Class 9 to 12, this scholarship up to INR 60,000 empowers the students by reducing the cost of education. And, thus, the dream of students from financially weaker sections of the society can be fulfilled to complete their schooling.

General Undergraduate Courses

For any general undergraduate program of study, this scholarship provides INR 18,000 to the candidates. It has wholesome objectives of helping students meet their academic needs and avoid intermittent education.

Professional Graduation (3-Year Courses)

Specific to the students of first Professional three-year undergraduate courses, this scholarship intends to offer INR 48,000 to meet the expense of the course and other educational expenses of these professional streams.

Professional Graduation (4-Year Courses)

For students pursuing 4-year professional undergraduate courses, the grant includes a lump sum of INR 60,000 payable only once specifically for students involved in intense programs of study in an engineering or pharmacy education.

Here are the different stages in the Aditya Birla Capital Scholarship 2024-25 selection process:

• Based on the applicants’ academic performance and socio-economic background, the association will shortlist the students. This ensures that the students with strong academic merit and genuine financial need are prioritised.
• Shortlisted candidates are required to submit supporting documents to verify their academic records, family income, and other eligibility criteria. This ensures that the information provided during application is accurate.
• After document verification, shortlisted students participate in a telephonic interaction with the scholarship committee. This interaction allows evaluators to understand candidates’ motivations, goals, and the impact of the scholarship on their education.
• The scholarship committee reviews the applicants’ profiles, verified documents, and interview feedback to make the final selection. Only those who meet all criteria and demonstrate high potential receive the scholarship.
• To maintain transparency, a physical verification process is conducted for selected scholars. This final check confirms that selected candidates align with the scholarship’s eligibility and purpose.
