The scholarship amount is granted to eligible students from the State Government fund. The scholarship amount is given to the beneficiaries under two groups – Day scholars and Hostellers. 1. West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship (for SC/ST Students)

• You must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.

• Your family's annual income should not exceed INR 2 lakh.

2. West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship

• You must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• You should belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category.
• This scholarship is for you, if you're in Class 11, 12, Graduation, or Post Graduation.
• Your annual family income must not exceed:
  • INR 1 lakh if you're OBC
  • INR 2 lakh if you're SC
  • INR 2.5 lakh if you're ST

3. Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship (for Girls)

• You must be a resident of West Bengal.
• This scholarship is exclusively for female students.
• You should have passed Class 12 from any recognized board.
• If you’re planning to study Engineering, Medicine, or Basic Science at a recognized institution in West Bengal, you’re eligible to apply.

4. Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (SVMCM)

• You must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• You should be studying in Class 11 or 12,
  OR pursuing graduation in Engineering, Medical, or Professional/Technical courses (not general UG or PG courses).
• If you're at the higher secondary or diploma level, you must have scored at least 75% marks in Class 10.
• If you're at the undergraduate level, you need to have at least 75% marks in Class 12.
• Your family's annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh.
• Scholarships are granted based on both merit and financial need.
• If you're pursuing an MPhil or PhD from a state-aided institution, you're also eligible.

5. Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal

• You must be a resident of West Bengal.
• You should belong to a non-Hindi speaking state.
• You must have passed one of the following: Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, Graduation, Post-Graduation, or any equivalent course.
• You need to have scored at least 60% marks in your last qualifying exam (in the first attempt), with Hindi as one of the subjects.

Filling Out the Aityakshree Scholarship Application Form

Step 1- Registration Process

• Visit the official website of the WBMDFC portal i.e. wbmdscholarship.org or directly click on the Aikyashree Scholarship portal.
• On the homepage, click on the New Registration
• Enter all the required details
• Submit the form and proceed.

Step 2- Fill the Scheme Eligibility

In the scheme eligibility column on the homepage, fill in the following required information: 

• Present institution, 
• Location, 
• Class or course name, 
• Last exam passed, 
• Board name, 
• Year of passing the last exam, 
• Percentage marks secured, 
• Annual family income, 
• Email ID and other personal details
• After filling in the details, submit the form and click on the ‘Proceed’ option

Step 3- Completion of Registration

• To complete the registration process further, use the temporary user ID and password to log into the portal. The password or the code will be sent to the candidates by email.

Step 4- Complete the Student Login

• To complete the student login process, login with your User ID and Password on the Student Log-In window.
• After logging in, enter all the required details and information like Basic Information, Academic Information, and Bank Account Information.

Step 5- Check the application form and submit it. Take a printout for further processing.

To complete the application process, the candidate must upload certain documents while filling out the form. A few of the documents needed for the Aikyashree Scholarship application are:

• Self-certified community certificate
• Income certificate
• Fee receipt of the current year of the course pursuing
• Self-attested certificate of the previous year’s mark sheet
• Valid Residential/Domicile certificate
• Bank account details
• Passport-size photographs of the applicant

If you want to renew your WBMDFC scholarship, you’ll need to follow these step-by-step instructions carefully. This ensures your renewal process goes smoothly and your scholarship continues without interruption:

1. Visit the official website for all scholarships (Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, MCM, TSP, SVMCM).
2. Click on the ‘Renewal Application’ option. A new window will open.
3. Select your district and click OK on the pop-up that appears.
4. Log in using your application ID, date of birth, district, and the captcha code.
5. Click on the ‘Login’ button.
6. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and submit.
7. You'll see two options: ‘Renew Application’ and ‘Withdraw Application’. Click on ‘Renew Application’.
8. Fill in the required details in the renewal form: your name, date of birth, email ID, parent’s name, gender, religion, etc.
9. Click on ‘Submit and Next’.
10. Enter your previous and current academic details.
    Click on ‘Submit and Next’ again.
11. Verify your bank details: IFSC code, bank name, branch name, account number, and account holder's name (as per your passbook).
12. Tick the box
13. Click ‘Submit and Next’.
14. Upload the required documents, including your Institute Verification Certificate.
15. Once uploaded, click on ‘Submit and Next’.
16. Review all your details carefully before proceeding.
17. Click on the ‘Submit and Lock Renewal Application’ button.
18. A confirmation popup will appear. If all details are correct, click OK.
19. Finally, click ‘Print Renewal Application’ to get a printout of your completed form for future reference.

If you forget your Aikyashree Scholarship Application ID or password from last year, don’t worry—you can easily recover it through the official website by using your registered mobile number, date of birth, and bank account number. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Go to the official Aikyashree Scholarship website.
2. Click on the ‘Student’s Login’ option.
3. On the login page, click on the ‘Forgot User ID / Password’ link.
4. Fill in the required details:
   
   
   • Scholarship Registration Year
   • Institution District
   • Registered Mobile Number
   • Date of Birth
   • Either your Bank Account Number or Application ID
     
      
5. Once you submit these details, WBMDFC will send you an SMS containing your Application ID and Password.
