Candidates who have applied for M.Tech admissions at IIT Kharagpur need to appear for the GATE entrance exam for MTech Admission. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personal Interview (PI) Round. For the final selection, 70% weightage will be provided to the GATE scores and 30% to the Personal Interview round. B.Tech students from IITs with a minimum CGPA of 8 are exempted from the requirement of a GATE score.
