I am currently studying in Jadavpur University in the department of Electronics and telecommunication engineering. I cleared jee main and wbjee in 2023 . So I choose Jadavpur University over NIT, and believe me I made a good decision in that time . My elder brother pass out in 2022. My elder brother pass out from Jadavpur University in 2022. He was in Instrumentation and electronics department. He just paid 10 thousand rupees only to complete his graduation, and he got job above 12 lakh per annum. So , the baap of return of investment.

Jadavpur University is one of the best universities in India in all respects such as study, placements, faculties, infrastructure, etc. In order to take admitted to Jadavpur University in Engineering branches, every student has to give WBJEE entrance exam and they have to score a very good rank to get admission in the top branches there. In order to take admission in the CSE dept. of Jadavpur University one has to score rank under 150 which is very competitive every year. This is one of the best colleges providing very good placements to students every year.

Dear Student,
Unfortunately, diploma students from Bihar or any other state with 10th marks are not eligible for WBJEE exam. This is because the minimum WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria requires that all students (from West Bengal or other states) must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects to get admission to B.Tech degree.

The Faculty Council of Engineering & Technology - Jadavpur University fees for B.Tech is Rs 24,000 annually. The eligibility for admissions is that you need to qualify WBJEE, or JEE Mains. You also need to have passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks.
