Tedx Talks were held at Alliance University under the theme 'Beyond Boundaries.'

On January 21, 2023, Alliance University's Bengaluru Central Campus hosted the TEDx talk. The event shared inspiring stories about people who go 'Beyond Boundaries' in their pursuit of happiness, emotional experiences, solo trips, endurance, managing a career while being a parent, acting, and politics. TEDxAllianceUniversity demonstrates Alliance University's dedication to pushing the boundaries of learning and its transformative impact on people, communities, and societies.

Who were the people who spoke?

  • Candida Louis is an Indian girl from a small town in Karnataka who used her bike to travel around the world.

Alliance University hosts the Grand Annual Convocation Ceremony.

Alliance University held its Annual Convocation ceremony on January 14, 2023, at the Central Campus in Anekal, Bengaluru. Hon'ble Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan, Pro-Visitor of Alliance University and Minister for Higher Education, IT & BT, Science and Technology, and Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood of the Government of Karnataka; Justice S. R. Bannurmath, Chairman of the Karnataka Law Commission; and Shri. Harshit Singhal, Managing Director of HashedIn by Deloitte attended the convocation ceremony. The graduation of 2445 students was celebrated at the convocation. Medals and merit certificates were awarded to 161 rank holders. 1615 students were awarded degrees, 830 were awarded diplomas, and 14 Alliance University students were awarded doctorates.

Mr. Abhay G. Chebbi, Pro-Chancellor of Alliance University, gave a welcome speech, and Dr. Anubha Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Alliance University, presented the annual reports. Hon'ble Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan then addressed the graduates, encouraging them to "apply their education to improve society," which was followed by a speech from Mr. Harshit Singhal, Managing Director of HashedIn by Deloitte. Finally, Karnataka Law Commission Chairman Justice S. R. Bannurmath thanked parents, family members, and teachers for their contributions to the graduates' success and encouraged them to seize opportunities and contribute to society.

In light of this situation, the Court has mandated a comprehensive review and revision of the merit list to ensure fairness in the evaluation process. Hence, the announcement of the CLAT 2025 Round 1 allotment is postponed as the authorities approach SC against the revised marking scheme.
