Candidates aspiring to secure a seat at an NIT with 120 marks can refer to the expected admission possibilities based on previous years' trends. A score of 120 marks in JEE Main January 2025 is anticipated to correspond to a 93.9+ percentile, which translates to a predicted All India Rank (AIR) of approximately 91,500.
To help candidates gauge their chances, a list of NITs and academic programs that have historically admitted students with ranks 91,500 and below is provided for reference. However, it is essential to note that these predictions are based on past data and may vary depending on factors such as the difficulty level of JEE Main 2025, the total number of applicants, and the official cutoff trends.
Scoring 75 marks in JEE Main 2025 may raise concerns about future academic options for engineering aspirants. Those obtaining 75 marks shall attain ranks beyond 244,500 based on the previous year’s analysis. Therefore with such rank range candidates can attain a spot at NIT Agartala, NIT Srinagar, NIT Sikkim, NIT Manipur, and NIT Mizoram only. While this score might not be enough for top institutions like NITs or JEE Advanced, students can still explore other pathways such as private engineering colleges or deemed universities, state-level entrance exams, and state-level counselling sessions for B.Tech admissions. Furthermore, candidates belonging to SC and ST shall easily get admission to NITs compared to other categories.
Expected NIT for 180 marks in JEE Main 2025: Students anticipating 180 marks in JEE Main January 2025 can grab a seat at various National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and the list of expected NITs can be checked here. Based on last year’s trends and admission patterns, securing 180 marks is likely to fall to AIR 18750 to 19500. Aspirants with 180 marks parts shall attain 98.72+ percentile. While this rank may not guarantee admission to the top-tier NITs, it can still open doors to several reputable institutions.
