The college library came in existence in the year 1987-88 with a collection of 116 books. Over the years, the number of books kept steadily growing with present status of 9,604 books in various subjects of Ayurveda and other allied subjectsa. Looking to the need of present technical world and availabilities of materials online, a digital library was set and opened for the students from 2008-09 onwards.Quality Control Laboratories are running successfully since last three years and have set the example by standardizing renowned established products on request of some pharmaceuticals of Karnataka, Kerala and other states based on guidelines of WHO (World Health Organization ). We have also assisted the students of post-graduation and doctoral research (Ph.D.) from Ayurveda, Biochemistry, Botany, Pharmaceutical Sciences etc. from different universities all over India in their researches.The Herbal medicinal plants garden of the institute is one of its kinds in the field of Ayurveda. One among the largest in terms of the flora cultivated and propagated which includes many endangered and red listed plants. Established in the new campus in 1995, now more than 520 species of medicinal plants of more than 100 families are grown in an area of 8 acres. Specialized areas of representation like Navagraha Vana started in the year 2001, Nakshatra vana and Shivapanchayatana in the year 2002. Human body is represented by various plants specifically used for the ailments of respective anatomical part.
