Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions admission process for 2026 follows a 6-stage Centralised Admission Process (CAP) administered by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. Candidates first qualify their respective entrance exam (MHT CET, GATE, MAH MBA CET), then register on the State CAP portal, fill choices, attend document verification, and accept the allotted seat by paying fees. Direct admission against institute-level vacant seats is conducted after the CAP rounds end. The same process applies to all programmes; only the entrance exam differs.

- Qualify the relevant entrance exam — MHT CET 2026 for B.Tech, GATE 2026 / DBATU CET for M.Tech, or MAH MBA CET 2026 / CAT / MAT for MBA. Class 12 / graduation marks alone are not sufficient.
- Register on the Maharashtra State CET Cell CAP portal (cetcell.mahacet.org) using your MHT CET / MAH MBA CET application number. M.Tech aspirants register on the DBATU portal (dbatu.ac.in).
- Fill the CAP application form with personal, academic, and category details. Upload scanned documents — Class 10 and 12 marksheets, entrance exam scorecard, domicile and category certificates, Aadhaar, and photograph.
- Pay the CAP application fee online — INR 800 for General/OBC/EWS/Other states and INR 600 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The fee is set by the State CET Cell and not by Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions.

Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions Scholarships
These scholarships are mainly for students from Maharashtra and help them continue their studies after Class 10. Each scheme has different rules and benefits. The Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship is for students whose family income is up to Rs. 2,50,000. It covers full tuition fees and development fees. Freeship schemes for SC, ST, and students with disabilities do not have any income limit and also give a 100% fee waiver.
Students from VJNT and SBC categories can get scholarships under two income levels—up to Rs. 4,50,000 and up to Rs. 8,00,000. Both give a full tuition fee waiver. OBC students get a 50% tuition fee waiver under similar income limits. The Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj EBC Scheme is for students with family income up to Rs. 8,00,000 and offers a 50% tuition fee waiver.
There are also extra support schemes. The Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Allowance gives Rs. 20,000 per year to eligible students (with some conditions like required documents). Minority students can get up to Rs. 50,000 per year. Hostel support schemes like Dnyanjyoti Savitribai Phule Aadhaar Yojana and Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Swayam Yojana provide around Rs. 43,000 per year. The Government of Maharashtra Girl Students Scholarship gives a 100% tuition fee waiver to eligible female students admitted through CAP.
